The Isle of Wight Makers Network have decided that collaboration is the key to successful reuse of empty shops on the island.
The newly formed Isle of Wight Pop Up Shops website will let people advertise pop up shop adventures, creating a loose but active network.
To kick things off they have invited Empty Shops Network founder Dan Thompson to the island to talk. He’ll be talking at Quay Arts, Newport, Isle of Wight on 7th July. Dan will be also answering questions after the talk. Tickets cost £3 and are available from the Quay Arts Box Office on 01983 822490.
