Pop up and empty shops expert Dan Thompson will be launching his new book Pop Up Business For Dummies at the Streets Ahead hub on Margate High Street. Dan was recently praised by David Cameron for showing ‘the best of Britain’ in his work after the riots of August 2011.
The book is part of the famous “For Dummies” series, produced by international publishers Wiley.
The launch takes place on Friday 2nd November at the Streets Ahead community hub space at 60 Margate High Street.
Dan will be hosting a series of open workshops during the day, discussing his book and offering advice on how pop ups and empty shops can be used for the good of the community.
The Cliftonville W.I. will be providing tea and cakes throughout the day for attendees.
More details and timings will be released closer to the day. The Streets Ahead creative working group is working with designers from Wiley to make the space look stunning and create a great, friendly atmosphere.
