Make-Away is a pop-up shop powered by Retail Ready People. Staffed by young volunteers, it offers T-shirts, bags and aprons – all screenprinted on demand with designs by local artists.
Delivered in partnership by vInspired and Retail Trust with support from the Empty Shops Network, Retail Ready People is a free 12-week skills development and volunteering programme which gives 16 – 25 year olds the chance to set up and run a high street shop in their local area. Retail Ready People provides training and support as well as practical skills and experience to help young people find out more about retail careers, progress and get promoted.
Make Away in Brighton Square, Brighton is open 10am – 5pm Tuesday-Saturday and 12 noon-4pm on Sundays.
