East Street Arts and the National Federation of Artist Studio Providers are holding an event for people wanting to find out more about creative reuse of empty spaces.
East Street Arts are currently celebrating their 20th birthday. Formed in 1993, their first exhibition was in two empty shop units beneath the arches of Leeds station. They currently run a programme called In Situ, managing over 70 spaces across England in the last year.
The meeting takes place on Wednesday 30th October, 4-7pm at West Riding House (Pinnacle) Leeds – in one of East Street Arts temporary spaces. It’s an informal networking event, with one-to-one sessions available for artists who want to talk to an experienced member of the East Street Arts team.
